Condolence: Deepest sympathy to the family of Jean (Smith) Adey from all the friends of Jean and brother Alton in Cupids. We were great buddies with Alton and Isobel; it was lovely visiting when Jean and Cam arrived for supper. We have many happy memories. Linda and Lloyd Kane, Cupids
I was 9, Jean 10 when my father Rev. Oliver Jackson died in 1937 and thereafter I was sent to my Aunt Ada in Cupids for the summer months. So for the next few years, Jean and I got to spend our holidays together, stumbling over rocky beaches, romping in haystacks, picking blueberries!
Though we met now and then thereafter, she's the Jean I knew and still like to remember: full of fun, getting into trouble, always laughing!
So farewell old pal, and sincere condolences to your family from Marion and I.
I have many fond memories of both your Mom and Dad visiting the drugstore. Their congenial manner was always uplifting. I'm sure that you can take some solace in that your Dad will be reunited with your Mom. Thinking of you at this difficult time. God Bless.
