Passed peacefully away, holding the hands of family, on February 25, 2018, our dear mother Blanche Elizabeth Abbott (Bryant), 89 years, of St. John's (formally of New Perlican). Predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years, Joseph, infant son Joey, parents Samuel and Florence Bryant and all her brothers and sisters. She leaves behind her children who loved her dearly: Betty Mckenzie (Ernest), Edward, Joseph (Vickie), Debbie Webber (Eric), Bonnie Abbott (Jerry Walsh), and Connie Peddle (Bob). Nanny Blanche will be loved and cherished forever by her adoring grandchildren: Athena (Robert), Mark (Lori), Kurt (Jess), Dustyn, Joe Jr. (Jen), Shane (Amber), Cassie, Brendan (Whitney), Rebecca, Gregory (Stephanie), Allison, Mallory (Keith), Erika (Patrick), and Robert (Amy). She will also be sadly missed by 14 beautiful great-grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart: Chloe, Sophie, Finley, Owen, Nash, Wyatt, Dezmyn, Olivia, Beau, Kingston, Madelyn, Nora, Josie, and Bryce. They will learn about their Nanny Blanche through all the wonderful stories their moms and dads will tell them. A special thank you to those (too many to mention) who provided care to Mom recently and over the past few years. Your kindness and compassion will always be remembered. Flowers welcomed or donations can be made in Mom’s memory to Children’s Wish Foundation.
