PIERCEY, Lily Mae (nee Hudson)– Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, Lily Piercey, age 86 years. Predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Roland; mother and father, Allen and Dorcas Hudson; sisters: Ena, Eliza, Olive, Viola, Marion and Genevieve; brother, Melbourne; son-in-law: Thomas Nelson; sisters-in-law: Bernice Hudson and Jemima Hudson; special friends: Mary Ryan and Millicent Vandersteen. Leaving to mourn, daughters: Pauline Webster (Clyde) (St. John’s) and Karen Nelson (Glen)(Kelligrews); and son Kevin (Peggy)(Mount Carmel); also leaving to mourn, 6 grandchildren: Shawn, Chad, Danielle, Corey, Thomas and Trevor; great-granddaughter, Lexi Lynn; brother, Herbert; special friend, Phyllis Normore; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Thursday, August 10, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and on Friday, August 11, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service to take place from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:00am, with interment to follow at the Field of Honour, Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
